Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?
After reading and watching the story, encourage your child to answer these questions:
What animal do we see first?
What colour is the bird?
What sound does the yellow duck make?
What colour is the horse?
What animal is next?
What colour is the frog?
What sound does the frog make?
What colour is the cat?
What sound does a cat make?
What other animals can you remember from the story?
What was your favourite animal in the story?
Can your child draw a picture of their favourite animal from the story?
They might like you to help them to write about the characters in the story. Perhaps they could have a go at writing the words themselves. You could write for them or how about making a video of your child writing. Your child could draw a picture of one of the animals from the book or maybe paint their favourite animal. What colours do you think you will need to paint the cat?

Step 1: Cut the banana into circles – you may need an adult to help you.
Step 2: Place on two raisins for the eyes and then one for a nose.
Step 3: Add cheerios for the bears ears.
Step 4: You can eat your yummy bear snack
