Gill Blowers and the Outdoors
At Gill Blowers Nursery we have adopted a ‘Free flow’ ethos. Children are able to access the garden freely throughout the nursery session and in ALL weathers. We focus on our curriculum inside and outside.
The children enjoy planting, exploring, running climbing, building and achieving while using their creativity and imagination.
Staff support children to try different types of mind and body exercise such as running, jumping, stretching and Yoga
While exploring the children focus on the use of their 5 senses: Sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste
Although we have some wellington boots and waterproof clothing sets it is very important that your child comes to nursery dressed appropriately for the weather.
Remember ‘there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing!’
